The doctoral dissertation must address a well-defined psychological question, problem, or issue which merits investigation. Usually, the students do empirical dissertations. Empirical research includes, but is not limited to, experimental research or “quasi-experimental” research. It involves either a quantitative or qualitative data analysis. Qualitative dissertations range from “theoretical” dissertation to case-studies. The School also accepts the completion of a “project” in lieu of a dissertation. On this page, you will find details of completed dissertations as well as those which are in the planning stage.
